Privacy Policy

1.2 Categories of Personal Data Collected
We collect and process the following categories of personal data when you interact with our services:

- → Contact data: email address, telephone number, postal address
- → Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- → Usage data: pages visited, interaction patterns, session duration, referral source
- → Project data: specifications, requirements documents, and deliverables shared during engagement
1.3 Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data under the following legal bases as defined in Article 6 of the GDPR:
- → Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): When you subscribe to communications or accept non-essential cookies
- → Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)): When data processing is required to perform our contractual obligations
- → Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): For analytics, service improvement, and fraud prevention
1.4 Data Retention Periods
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Project-related data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 24 months for warranty and support obligations. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months. Technical logs are retained for 90 days unless required for security investigation.
1.5 Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject, you have the following rights:

- → Right to Rectification (Art. 16): Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- → Right to Erasure (Art. 17): Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")

- → Right to Data Portability (Art. 20): Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- → Right to Object (Art. 21): Object to processing based on legitimate interests

1.6 Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission and compliance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

Refund Policy
Last updated: July 20263.1 Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility is determined based on the project milestone at which cancellation occurs. MeadowAnchorLabs operates on a milestone-based delivery model, and refunds are calculated proportionally to work completed and delivered.
3.2 Cancellation Before Work Begins
If you cancel a project before any work has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund of all payments made, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs (e.g., domain registrations, API subscription fees) incurred on your behalf. Refunds are processed within 14 business days.
3.3 Cancellation During Active Project
If cancellation occurs during an active project:
- → All completed and approved milestones are non-refundable
- → Work-in-progress is billed proportionally based on completion percentage
- → Remaining prepaid amounts for unstarted milestones are refunded within 14 business days
- → All deliverables completed to date are transferred to the client upon final payment
3.4 Quality Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with deliverables, notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery with specific quality concerns. We will perform a quality review and, if justified, remediate the deliverables at no additional cost. If remediation is not possible, a partial refund proportional to the affected scope will be issued.
3.5 Refund Processing
All refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to contact@meadowanchorlabs.com with your project reference number.
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 20264.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services of MeadowAnchorLabs ("the Company"), located at Reberbansgade 23, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not engage our services.
4.2 Scope of Services
Services are defined in the project proposal or statement of work (SOW) agreed upon by both parties. MeadowAnchorLabs will deliver services in accordance with the specifications outlined in the SOW. Any changes to scope require written approval and may affect pricing and timeline.
4.3 Payment Terms
- → Invoices are issued according to the milestone schedule defined in the SOW
- → Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date
- → Late payments accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month
- → Work may be suspended if payment is overdue by more than 30 days
4.4 Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, all intellectual property rights in the deliverables are transferred to the client. MeadowAnchorLabs retains the right to display the work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed. Pre-existing tools, frameworks, and libraries used in development remain the property of their respective owners and are licensed to the client for the specific project.
4.5 Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination of the agreement for a period of 24 months.
4.6 Limitation of Liability
MeadowAnchorLabs's total liability under any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
4.7 Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of Aalborg, Denmark, unless the parties agree to alternative dispute resolution.
4.8 Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
4.9 Modifications
MeadowAnchorLabs reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients. Continued use of services after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
